Bible verse: Ephesians 3:16-17 – I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love.
Our purpose on earth is to Love God and Love Others. We love God by having faith, being obedient, and taking care of our brothers and sisters in Christ. Whenever I see the word serve, I always panic. How do I serve!? I don’t know how to go to the hard streets to be an evangelist. I also don’t have a passion for serving in that way. God has blessed us all with gifts and passions for serving. My Mom for example, is blessed with the gift of hospitality. She is an amazing cook and instantly makes people feel loved and comfortable. In the past, I have felt like there isn’t a natural area for me to serve. I have been selective and selfish on looking at “sexy” places to spend time… or just not serving at all. At that point, you just need to take the leap and sign up for something. If you want to get out of your comfort zone and meet people at your church, sign up for the spring-cleaning day at your church. Sign up to mow the lawn at your church. Sign up to cook at the next church potluck. Serving has been easier for me since we have had kids. I have found that I enjoy being silly and teaching kids. So, for me it is a no-brainer to serve as part of the kids’ program at church to help out, spend more time with my kids, and try to teach lessons in a fun way that the kids grow in their faith. Next time your church is looking for people to serve, sign-up. If you don’t feel a passion for that serving opportunity, sign-up for something different next time. The church is always looking for people to get involved. Use this as an opportunity to not only serve God and others, but to also learn something new.

- Walk/run min of 5KM
- As you walk/run, pray for your country, politicians, and the world around you
Evening
- Tell your wife that you love her and give her a big kiss on the lips
- Pray with kids before bed
- 10PM – Lights out
