Bible verse: Psalm 28:7 – The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him.
The objective of this first week is to get your body into a simple routine. Up at 5:30am… sleeping by 10pm. If you want more energy in your life to get out of the feeling of being a zombie after having kids, you need to develop discipline. When we had our first son, my wife and I tried to be the “cool” parents. No matter what our friends were doing, we would bring our son with us. We didn’t want to miss out and didn’t want our new baby to change our lives. Well, for anyone who has had kids, you know that this approach will make everyone miserable. Babies need a routine. They need to know when to eat and when to sleep. As parents, we need a routine as well. The beauty of having a routine is that it gives your body rest and energy. This will be paramount, as we start to get into harder workouts over the next 42 days.
