If you want to build great family unity, start having epic family adventures. You don’t need to spend money to have adventure. Grab a backpack, fill it with some snacks, water, jackknife, slingshot, and head out. Whenever we are home and looking for something to do, we will jump on our bikes and head to the woods. On a hot day, we will grab a couple inner tubes and float down the creek. In the winter, we will get everyone bundled up in snow suits. Load up the sleds from the parking lot with firewood, hot dogs, and marshmallows and have an epic winter fire. What happens when you are spending this time outside exploring as a family? You learn new things, you laugh together, and you build memories. If you have more time available, drive somewhere new to explore. I did not grow up loving hiking or loving the outdoors. Now that I have kids, I love being outside with them. It is amazing watching kids on a hike, seeing how curious they are with the flowers, the bugs, and the other people hiking. As I get older, I also find that I grow closer to God being outside in His creation. This week plan an adventure with your family… get outside… learn something new… make some epic family memories!

- Max out on push-ups / mountain climbers before leaving your bedroom (12 mins)
