Day 36

Bible verse: Proverbs 16:3 – Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.

We are on the last week. Week 6. What a journey so far. This is the week to solidify good habits in your life. I hope you are proud of yourself and the progress you have made. Change is never easy. To implement change, you must take it one day at a time. No excuses. Continue with the process and be ruthless on automation. Life is busy. And… it flies by. Once I had kids, I realized how fleeting life is. To keep up with our busy lives, take the time to automate. Automate your finances by using an app like MINT to track your budget and an investing tool like Questrade to pay yourself first. Automate your family life by committing to tucking your kids into bed, committing to be present as part of their activities, and setting a non-negotiable date night with your wife once a month. Automate your spiritual life by praying first thing when you wake up, praying throughout the day, and praying before bed. Automate your exercise by committing to workout at the same time each day (I recommend during your typical commute time). Listen to your Bible while you cycle, pray while you run, enjoy life being active and talking to your Creator. Leverage the recommended schedule in this guide to help bring sanity back into your life, so you can focus on the things that matter: faith, family, and adventure.
