Day 7

Bible verse: James 1:19 – My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry.

Congratulations. Week one is complete! You should be feeling tired and sore. This will be the lowest point over the next 6 weeks. Your body is getting stronger. Your body is now getting used to getting up at a certain time and going to bed at a certain time. Besides starting to get into shape, you have accomplished two major milestones in your life. You have developed a set of family values, which are now the bedrock of your family. Hang your family values on the doorway of your kids’ room. Every time they leave their room to take on the world, they will see the family values and what you stand for. You have developed a Dream Board, which is your north star of what you are working towards. The Dream Board aligns your dreams with your spouses dreams and helps to visualize and give you hope as you tackle each day. You have also started to develop four important habits: a daily devotional time with God, a bed time routine with your kids, understanding where you are spending money, and an intentional intimate time with your spouse each day. 5 more weeks to go on this journey! Here is the structure of the next 5 weeks. Week 2 will focus on finances, Week 3 will focus on fitness, Week 4 will focus on family, Week 5 will focus on spirituality, and Week 6 will focus on how to continue these habits as part of your daily rhythm of life.
